Bernie Ecclestone, president and CEO of Formula One Management and Formula One Administration, has offered to display 12 F1 vintage cars from his private collection in the main Hotel Lobby under the magnificent Dome. The exhibition will last until 3rd November.

Comprising amongst others cars like Mazeratti 1954 model, Ferrari 1951 model, Bugatti 1932, Mercedes Benz 1937. General Manager of Emirates Palace Mr. Hans Olbertz paid rich tribute to Mr. Ecclestone for his kind gesture of choosing the Emirates Palace as an exhibiting area for these collection of vintage cars.
''Emirates Palace is proud to be part of the 2009 Formula 1 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix and play a major role in promoting it as a major world event that will have positive impact of the hospitality industry in Abu Dhabi,'' he said.

The Abu Dhabi Grand Prix - the UAE's first-ever Formula One race - which will take place in the first week of November on Yas Island, will also serve as a showcase for the multi-billion tourism development, including high-end resorts, hotels golf courses, and a Ferrari theme park, he added.
