UAE educational Strategy 2010-2020 pivotal for building distinguished human capital
The Ministry of Education has specified the issue of "the appropriate school environment" as a central issue in its new strategy for 2010 - 2020. The strategy focuses on current challenges, preparation of students to acquire knowledge and balanced skills in different subjects to develop in them intellectual criticism and analysis in order to understand future trends of market values with adherence to work professionalism.
Minister of Education HE Humaid Al Qattami, said the new strategy makes parents main partners for achieving the objectives of the strategy, notably, creation of distinguished human capital for the UAE to keep on sustainable developmental process.
He said the strategy is ready for implementation to achieve the results, which will be gauged through improvement in education in the light of proper school environment. The strategy is an approach used to understand the role of education and job training in the economy. - Emirates News Agency, WAM
